During recess twice a week our canteen operates for students to purchase set menu items.
The menu is set for each day and varies each week, with parents being notified through the newsletter and through canteen notices sent home with students.
Menu items have included foods such as hot homemade sausage rolls, tomato soup and toasties, pancakes, nachos, warm milo, dip and vegetable sticks, dim sims, mini hot dogs, etc.
Our students love this opportunity for a little something special each week.

The school canteen may also operate from time to time catering for special student lunches – these are a regular highlight for our students!

Our canteen operates on a volunteer basis and we always look forward to any assistance from parents and carers on these days to help.

Breakfast Club

Our ‘Sunnyside Up’ Breakfast Club aims to ensure students start the day with a healthy meal, helping students to improve their concentration and make stronger social connections with friends.
Any students and parents are welcome to attend our Breakfast Club Program on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:30am to 8:50am in the school’s Dolphin Centre.
The Victorian Government partnered with Foodbank Victoria to help ensure that all kids have a healthy and nutritious start to the day. We are extremely fortunate to be part of this wonderful program here at Frankston Primary School, with Foodbank Victoria delivering regular breakfast food supplies to support our ‘Sunnyside Up Breakfast Club.’
Our Breakfast Program is coordinated by staff and relies on parent and carer volunteers to assist with breakfast set up, serving of food, engaging with our students and packing and cleaning up.
